CREATIVE MOVEMENT I & CREATIVE MOVEMENT UNITED
Class Attire: Pink dance dress, pink tights & pink leather ballet shoes
Designed to introduce young dancers to creative expression, movement with dance props, games and the introduction of basic ballet positions and stretching. Focus is placed on music identification, loco motor skill development and rhythm. Children that attend this class LOVE it! It helps prepare them for more structured classes in the future. Get ready for dance FUN!

CREATIVE MOVEMENT II
Class Attire: Lavender leotard, pink tights & pink leather ballet shoes
This is the last class in our Creative Movement Dance Series. Class focuses on intro to basic barre, movement with dance props, and follow up on basic ballet positions and line spacing.

Saturday @10:15 am
Ages 5-6 (Must be 5 by September 1)

BALLET APPRECIATION
Class Attire: Black leotard, suntan/ flesh tone tights and leather ballet shoes
An hour and fifteen minute based curriculum designed to introduce dancers to fundamental ballet positions, basic dance terminology and strengthening exercises. Focus is placed on barre introduction, music sensitivity, rhythm, discipline and repetitious movement. We believe that ballet provides the basic foundations for all dance genres, as well as for gymnastics, pom-pom and cheerleading.
New students must be 7 years old by September 1 to enroll. *Students may remain in this class for up to 3 years based on maturity, focus and overall development. Additionally, in most cases, students must meet the age maximum for class promotion.

BALLET FUNDAMENTALS
Class Attire: Burgundy leotard, suntan/flesh tone tights and leather ballet shoes
This building block dance class allows for students to continue to work on improving ballet technique and conditioning to help build a stronger dancer. Emphasis is placed on arm positions, direction of the body and increased movement vocabulary.

Ages 10-13; Must already be enrolled in BT I class

BALLET TECHNIQUE I
Class Attire: Burgundy leotard, suntan/flesh tone tights and leather ballet shoes
Designed to focus on body alignment and technical strength required for barre and center combinations. Focus is placed on dance terminology, barre exercises, and repetitious movement. Two classes per week suggested in this dance category.
*Students may remain in this class for up to 3 or more years based on maturity, focus and overall class development. Additionally, in most cases, students must meet the age maximum for class promotion.

BALLET TECHNIQUE II
Class Attire: Lavender leotard, suntan tights, medium weight exercise band and suntan/fleshtone leather ballet shoes
For older students, this class is designed to continue focus on body alignment, flexibility and technical strength required for more complex combinations, terminology and overall quality movement needed for dance performances.

Ages 12 & Up with previous dance experience

BALLET TECHNIQUE III
Class Attire: Black leotard, suntan/ fleshtone tights and pre – pointe or leather ballet shoes
For the older student, this class is designed to continue focus on body alignment, flexibility and technical strength required for more complex combinations, terminology and overall quality movement needed for dance performances.

Monday @ 6:00 pm
Ages 13 & up, with previous experience

BALLET TECHNIQUE & CONDITIONING
Class Attire: Lavender or black leotard, suntan/flesh tone tights and leather ballet shoes
This technical class will help strengthen ballet technique in the form of review, repetition and dance execution. Focus is also placed on toning, strengthening and muscle conditioning. This is a must have class to help students understand the true basic fundamentals in a non – performance based classroom curriculum.

JAZZ I
Class Attire: Black cami leotard (pinch front), suntan tights, suntan pull on jazz shoes
An introductory Jazz class, this dance class will include body isolations, beginning turns and leaps to create a unique dance class for this budding young dancer.
*Students may remain in this class for up to 4 years based on maturity, focus and overall class development. Additionally, in most cases, students must meet or exceed the age maximum for class promotion.

Ages 7 – 11; Can be taken in conjunction with Ballet Appreciation or Ballet Technique I Class

JAZZ II

Continuing with Jazz technique, this dance class will include body isolations, turns, more complex combinations and leaps to create a unique dance experience for this experienced young dancer.

CONTEMPORARY
Class Attire: Any color/ style leotard, dance pants, footless dance tights, dance shorts/leggings ballet shoes or dance paws / foot undies
For ages 12+, this class includes an eclectic blend of contemporary and some modern movement. Contemporary Dance allows students to explore their individual dance style, while focusing on presenting emotion through dance.
