Ballet Appreciation

An hour based curriculum designed to introduce dancers to fundamental ballet positions, basic dance terminology and strengthening exercises. Focus is placed on barre introduction, music sensitivity, rhythm, discipline and repetitious movement. We believe that ballet provides the basic foundations for all dance genres, as well as for gymnastics, pom-pom and cheerleading.

New students must be 7 years old by September 1 to enroll. *Students may remain in this class for up to 3 years based on maturity, focus and overall development. Additionally, in most cases, students must meet the age maximum for class promotion.

Class Attire: Black leotard, suntan/ flesh tone tights and leather ballet shoes

Class Day: Wednesday 6:15 pm

• Annual Performance Fee: $135 (Due in March; Does not include Costume for December performance, if applicable)
